REG İnşaat was established in 2021 as a limited company by Ersin Baştuğ with the aim of presenting 36 years of professional experience in a corporate structure.
As a newly established small company, REG immediately started to serve to abroad construction projects. From the very first moment, REG shown a sincere and collaborative approach towards its employees and customers.
Starting from the foundation date, REG Insaat carries out the aluminum and PVC roof assembly and aluminum welding works of storage facilities belonging to official and private institutions and logistic centers in Poland.
Previous experiences of founder
After graduating from Yıldız Technical University as a Mechanical Engineer in 1985, Ersin Baştuğ worked for a short time as Planning Officer in a machine manufacturing workshop in Bomonti, Istanbul.
He worked as personnel of Medal Ltd. in the project of Improving (FMW) Foundry and Mechanical Workshop Equipment and Increasing Efficiency, carried out by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) affiliated to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). and gained his first overseas experience in 1986 – 1987.
He started his logistics career at Tekser Construction Industry and Trade Inc. on 1989 in Istanbul, in the construction sector, and continued the procurement and logistics activities of turnkey construction projects intensively and successfully. In this period, by loading 100 trucks per year from Europe to Russia, 300 trucks per year from Turkey to Russia, and 10 ships per year from Istanbul to Yalta, international import-export, Istanbul Haydarpasa port ship docking, loading and customs procedures have been carried out. He worked in the Hotel Complex in Yalta during the Soviet Union period and in the Military Housing Projects after 1989.
He took part in every stage of the development of projects of petroleum and petroleum products processing facilities and construction projects, by carrying out feasibility studies, design, proposal and implementation stages at Avrasya Teknoloji Mühendislik ve İnşaat A.Ş. starting from 1993. He established facilities in Russia and Azerbaijan and took part in obtaining loans from the European Development Bank.
He stepped into the facade sector as Logistics and Purchasing Manager and Workshop Supervisor at Sinerji Construction Architecture Consulting Inc. on 2003. He has been actively involved in all manufacturing, purchasing, customs clearance, logistics, construction site installation and contract works of facade projects and standing seam roofing system applications in countries such as Russia, Lebanon, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Maldives, and Oman.
He again took part in the execution of construction projects in Qatar and Libya at Avrasya Teknoloji Mühendislik ve İnşaat A.Ş. since 2007.
He worked started to work as the Project Manager to Azerbaijan, Baku Flame Towers Exterior Cladding Project, in panel facade and podium stick facade installations which is carried out by equal partnership of both Dekoral Alüminyum Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and Aygun Aluminum Industry and Trade Inc., and represented both companies against to the employer until the project was completed.
He worked in Dekoral Alüminyum Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in various positions such as Project Manager, Planning Manager, Istanbul New International Airport Project Quality Manager in the Head Office starting from 2013.
In 2016, on leave from Dekoral, he worked as an experienced Project Manager and Consultant for 6 months in the standing seam roofing system and skylight applications, representing E-Power company in Vietnam, Da-Nang Vietnam International Airport New Terminal Building Roofing Project.
Starting from 2018, He worked as the construction site Project Manager in Azerbaijan, Baku Crescent Development Project Hotel Tower Facade and BMU Supply” project jointly carried out by IMAS LLC and Çuhadaroğlu Aluminum Industry and Trade Inc. for Gilan Holding. He participated in the design studies and directed and managed the panel facade and stick facade applications.
In 2021, he started the welding works of the storage facilities belonging to official institutions in Poland and continued his works by establishing the REG Construction Industry and Trade Limited Company, adding the roof assembly works to the scope of the contract
He gained experience at almost every level in projects with a contract value of between US$ 0.1 – 45 million, and carried out high-level representation, management and administration activities in large projects. He has been involved in more than 30 projects.
In the light of all these experiences, he continues working as founding partner and manager of the REG Construction Trade Limited Company in order to provide the best service in contracting works with the most favorable conditions.
